GIRLS COACHES
Coach Jase Alvis is the Head Coach of the 2023 Cypress Creek District Champions.
Before beginning to coach Girls Lacrosse, Coach Jason was devoted lacrosse dad when his oldest daughter began playing. Just a year later, he helped bring a varsity girls lacrosse program to Cypress Creek High School in 2018. In just five years, he led Cypress Creek to three straight district championship appearances.
Coach Alvis best attribute that he brings to his coaches and the girls on his team is the ability to grow, develope and build a culture for women to succeed as a team through values of integrity, sportmanship and personal responsibility.
Sydney is a Graduate of The University Of South Florida
Coach Sydney is a USF graduate who has been involved in WCAA Lacrosse since 2013. After beginning her lacrosse career with the Wesley Chapel Warriors, Coach Sydney went on to be a part of a four-time FGCLL undefeated championship team. She continued playing lacrosse on multiple club teams, competing and bringing home multiple championships.
Luna is currently attending University of Central Florida
Coach Luna is an alumni of Wiregrass High School and Tampa Tribe Lacrosse. After graduating high school, she began attending UCF where she played on the Women’s Lacrosse Team. In high school, Luna was a Team Captain and SAC Offensive Player of The Year. Luna had 157 career goals, 52 career assists, 55% career draw percentage, and 62 career caused turnovers. Luna has been acknowledged as one of the most talented lacrosse players to come from the Wesley Chapel area.
Miranda is currently attending University of Central Florida
Coach Miranda is an alumni of Cypress Creek High School and Tampa Tribe Lacrosse. After graduating high school, she began attending UCF where she played on the Women’s Lacrosse Team. In high school, Miranda was a Team Captain and apart of the SAC First Team All Conference defense. Miranda had 32 career caused turnovers, 24 career goals, and 34 career groundballs.
