The fundamental concepts of men’s and women’s lacrosse are the same – players try to score goals by using a stick, which features a plastic or wooden head with netting at the end, to shoot a ball into the goal. The are various rule differences between men’s and women’s lacrosse which makes each game unique.

- Mouth guard
- Shoulder pads
- Arm/Elbow pads
- Athletic cup
- Girl’s Lacrosse Stick
- Mouth piece
- Gloves (optional)
US Lacrosse is the national governing body of men’s and women’s lacrosse, primarily serving the youth game. It provides a leadership role in virtually every aspect of the game, boasts 64 chapters throughout the United States, and offers programs and services to inspire participation while protecting the integrity of the sport.
Membership & Insurance
All WCAA Lacrosse players must have a current US Lacrosse membership. ($25 under 15 years; $35 high school)
US Lacrosse partners with Bollinger Insurance to provide exclusive on-the-field coverage for all US Lacrosse members. In addition, US Lacrosse and Bollinger provide extensive Risk Management information that you need to protect your players and stay safe on and off the field. More about the insurance here.
Your sponsorship will help benefit WCAA Lacrosse by equipping the teams with balls, referees, equipment, and most importantly, aide in providing scholarships to those players in need that would otherwise not participate.
